18 A Manager Mike Day

2011 will start the 11th season as head coach of a girl's competitive softball team, over the year's coach Mike Day has compiled on awesome record of 328 wins and 139 losses. In those 11 years, 7 years was spent building the Colorado Outlaws organization with Claude Vigil, the last 3 years I have been in the Stampede organization which has national recognition and outstanding support for there teams and coaches. From 2007 - 2009 I was the Head coach at D'Evelyn high school compiling a record of 43 wins and 12 losses in a J.V. program that had not experienced a winning season in school history. In 2010 I was selected to coach a 16u Colorado all star team that represented the state of Colorado in the ISF youth world cup games in Plant City Florida . This was truly a once in a life time experience as we beat Canada 's gold cup team as well as Russia 's gold cup team. We finished the tournament 4th in the U.S. bracket and 8th over all. I truly enjoy coaching, watching these young ladies grow on and off the field and the friendships that have been made over the years and those that will continue a life time. The goal of the Stampede organization and my self as a coach is to give each one of these ladies every chance possible of fulfilling there dream of playing college softball, to graduate high school, and to be a role model in there community. My goal is to return to the high school coaching ranks when my daughter is done playing summer comp ball.

Coach Day resides in Littleton with his wife Stefanie, son Jeddid, and daughter Jacelynn who is a senior at D'Evelyn High School.

12U Manager John J. Behabetz II

John has been involved with fastpitch softball in one capacity or another for more than 12 years, with the last three years being part of the Colorado Stampede family.

John currently has a daughter playing at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas who is a Colorado Stampede alumni.

John is a fitness and nutrition enthusiast and has a strong passion for the game. He is committed to the Colorado Stampede and the young student-athletes playing in the 12 & Under division.
